The new President of the United States has promised that he will deport at least 2m people as soon as he takes office in January.
Mr. Trump referred to the potential deportees as ‘criminal immigrants.’
According to the New York Post, Mr Trump gave his first interview on the CBS show 60 minutes where he said the following:
The President Elect said “What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably two million, it could be even three million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate”.
“But we’re getting them out of our country, they’re here illegally.”
