The Miriam O’Callaghan show on RTE 1 last night needed plenty of boxes of Klennex last night when Rugby pundit George Hook an emotional interview.

The radio presenter spoke about how his parents doubled jobbed and even went without just so he could attend a private school in his native Cork.

He went onto say that during a troubled time in his left, he felt he somewhat neglected his parents in their late life and even called himself “a sh#t”.

Hook welled up speaking about flying home to send off his mother.

He then went on to give a passionate description of why believing in Heaven makes more sense than the likes of what Darwin theorists come out with.

A very different side to the hard man most people associate the 6ft 2 presenter with.
