The energy rip-off is alive and well, as Electric Ireland has announced plans to hike its prices towards the end of the summer.
The company is set to raise its electricity and gas prices, which means a double whammy for dual customers.
Electricity prices are set to increase by 6.2%, while gas prices will rise by 8%.
Other suppliers are likely to follow suit and rip their own customers off too.
