Prof. Dolores Cahill is under investigation by the Gardai after she allegedly held a St. Patrick’s Day get together for friends at her property in Athy.
Prof. Cahill, who is chairwoman of the Irish Freedom Party, had earlier on Wednesday given a speech against the government’s Orwellian lockdown in Dublin and this prompted the student’s union at UCD, where the Professor is a faculty member at the School of Medicine, to call for investigation into her remarks.
The UCD SU took exception at Prof. Cahill daring to question the official government narrative surrounding the Draconian lockdown and the Covid-19 virus.
On UCD’s website Prof. Cahill’s biography details her distinguished career “as a world-wide renowned expert in high-throughput proteomics technology development and automation, high content protein arrays and their biomedical applications, including in biomarker discovery and diagnostics.”
However, as history tells us, one can only remain a thorn in the side of the establishment for so long before the powers that be strike back and following the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Whites Castle, Athy, the government will now be eager to take advantage of this opportunity to hurt a stalwart opponent to their indefinite suspension of the Irish people’s basic freedoms.
