At some point in our lives many of us suffer from a migraine which can leave us in unbearable pain, but if you happen to suffer from migraines on a regular basis you can’t help but dread when the next one comes along and especially when your not sure as to what causes the crippling agony within your head.
Well now it seems doctors have came up with an answer to explain why you experience migraines more frequently. According to experts at the Migraine Association of Ireland the sudden change in weather is one of the main reasons you experience more throbbing headaches than usual.
The Association say the condition is more prominent during the autumn and winter months as the air pressure and humidity changes along with daylight hours getting shorter which results in your brain not being able to function properly.
Although there is no instant cures the association say there is significant advancement in the field and a cure is not far away, and have called for more non prescription options to be made available claiming the condition is becoming far more common amongst Irish people.
