World-renowned US screenwriter and producer Steven Bochco has passed away aged 74.
Bochco penned or produced such iconic TV series as Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, and LA Law.
He was well known for his gritty and realistic approach to screenwriting, and would go on to win 10 Emmy awards for his work.
Bochco died of leukemia on Sunday morning, aged 74.
