Florida governor Ron DeSantis has marked the first day of LGBTQIAS2+ month by signing a bill banning biological males from completing in girls and women’s sports.
In move being described online as “based” the leader of the Sunshine State signed legislation prohibiting biological males from competing in female sports to protect the “fairness and integrity of women’s athletics.”
“We’re going to go based off biology, not based off ideology, when we’re doing sports,” DeSantis said on a stage with female student athletes standing behind him. He added,
“In Florida, girls are going to play girls’ sports and boys are going to play boys’ sports.”
The move which is sure to enrage the ultra “progressive” Democratic party which has evolved to place issues such as Transgenderism and critical race theory at the heart of its ideological bent as well as the Biden administration which has been desperately pandering to the social radicals.
