Gardai say that they’ve discovered a number of breaches in the covid regulations where gastro-pubs weren’t serving enough food and where 30 people were enjoying themselves having fun in a makeshift shebeen.
In a statement issued to RTE, gardaà said: “The vast majority of premises continue to be compliant, but An Garda SÃochána continues to find premises in breach of regulations.”
The breaches were found in licensed premises, across the country in counties Limerick, Cork, Carlow and Meath since Thursday evening.
In one particular case, a search was carried out on a suspected shebeen, where gardaà found 30 people enjoying themselves, having fun, socialising and drinking.
Gardai have reminded people to ensure that they stick to the guidelines.
