Gardai investigating the deaths of an elderly couple in Co Donegal say they are keeping an open mind but believe deaths are not suspicious




Gardaí in Co Donegal investigating the deaths of an elderly couple in Fountain Terrace, Convoy, on Wednesday, say they are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination in order to determine the cause of their deaths.

According to RTÉ News, Gardai investigating the incident say they are keeping an open mind, but believe the man and the woman’s deaths are not suspicious.

The investigation comes after the man aged in his 80s and a woman aged in her 70s were found dead at the house by a relative.

It is understood that both the man and the woman’s bodies were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital.
