Gardai has launched an investigation after a body washed up on a beach in Co. Clare.
The body, believed to be that of a male, was found by passers-by at White Strand beach between Doonaha and Carrigaholt.
The body was removed to University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation.
