The German chancellor Angela Merkel has said she is doing fine after concerns were raised about her health following an incident at an official ceremony on Tuesday.
Merkel who was welcoming Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, to her office building ahead of a meeting between the two leaders, raised concerns when she was seen uncontrollably trembling.
The German leader who is scheduled to vacate her role in 2021, was seen trembling as the pair posed for photographs before the media.
However despite concerns being raised in the German press, Ms Merkel later clarified the situation by saying that she was trembling due to dehydration.
She added that she since had three glasses of water and was doing fine.
The latest incident comes after the German leader previously caused concern when a television interview was interrupted back in 2014.
However following the incident she revealed that she had a drop in blood pressure.
