It’s been revealed that the Irish government had spent over €800,000 of taxpayer money on transportation and accommodation for the pets of Ukrainian refugees and in the same timeframe an Irish child, neglected by the government’s Department of Health, became permanently paralysed as they awaited spinal surgery.

This latest, in a never ending cycle of injury heaped on insult towards the Irish people, has failed to arouse great shock as the Irish people have become so fatigued by the government’s disdain and disregard for them to the point where even this fails to shock.

Ukrainian refugees as well as some asylum seekers from such countries as Algeria, Georgia, Nigeria etc are fully entitled to medical cards, which has heaped unbearable pressure on an already floundering health system, and this is just one example of the consequences.

The revelation that the government spent €750 million of taxpayer money in welfare payments alone to Ukrainian refugees in just two years, excluding expenses on accommodation, healthcare, education and frivolities such as yoga classes has not engendered a sweeping away of our entrenched political class is astonishing.

Irish people seem content to watch their country be utterly and permanently transformed demographically as their children emigrate to Canada and Australia while No Irish Need Apply modular housing projects are constructed solely for refugees.

Children being stabbed on the street, rural and urban communities being terrorised by migrant planters, law abiding Irish citizens ,peacefully protesting, being beaten and arrested by Gardai, cities like Dublin becoming unrecognisable and record numbers of homeless while a whole generation accept they will never be able to own a home or raise a family has still not provoked a revolution in Ireland and maybe nothing will.
