
A runaway horse caused thousands of euro of damage to a woman’s car in Dublin today.
The incident happened on Oliver Bons St., in Dublin’s city centre.
The runaway horse, which was pulling an empty tourist carriage, was galloping at full speed along the street, with the presumed owner running close behind.
The animal narrowly missed the car, but the carriage scraped on the side, causing 4,500e worth of damage.
The horse’s owner never returned to the scene.
The woman contacted Dublin City Council -the entity in charge of licensing tourist carriages- and Gardai, in an effort to identify the carriage’s driver.
