Ireland might be heading for a catastrophe of biblical proportions in the not-too-distant future due to global warming, according to experts, the Mirror reports.
The overall trend of warming temperatures worldwide might signify a full three-degree increase in summertime temperatures in Ireland, and a 20-inch rise in sea levels. If the latter comes to pass, large swathes of Ireland might find themselves underwater.
The doomsday predictions continue with the threat of flash floods followed by periods of wretched drought, and longer and more frequent harsh winters.
So be afraid, be very afraid.
