“Ireland” quietly dropped from state funded “National Women’s Council” name and branding and why it’s important

The formally known National Women’s Council of Ireland has quietly changed it’s name by dropping “Ireland” from it’s original name.

Wayback Machine, the internet page archiving tool, shows the original National Women’s Council of Ireland logo on 9th June 2020 but on 23rd July 2020 the site’s logo was rebranded to National Women’s Council.

We checked the press releases for this time period and could not find any official announcement about the dropping of Ireland from this liberal, state sponsored NGO.

Prior to the change, The National Women’s Council of Ireland website also had an Irish language version of their name, however this Irish language version has been removed.

Given the NGO’s focus on migrant women arriving into Ireland, it comes as no surprise that this liberal, globalist organisation would want to delete it’s Irish heritage.
