Taylor- Lightweight Champion

Lightweight champion Taylor has stated that this is nothing short of a tragedy and that she is heartbroken at the news. Only time will heal in this instance but it’s safe to say that Kobe will be well and truly missed, and everyone needs to do everything they can to come together at this difficult time. Taylor is a legend in her own right, and he has a great level of respect for Kobe and the game of basketball in general.

Outpourings of Support

There have also been some more outpourings of support. They finished the message of support with “RIP Kobe Bryant”. Ronan O’Gara, who is a sporting legend in Ireland has stated that life is both cruel and sad. He is 42 and has an 11-year-old daughter at home. Kobe was 41 with a 13-year-old daughter, so he feels as though the news has hit him especially
hard.
