According to reports this evening one of the main suspects behind the Paris terrorist attacks has been shot following a shootout in the Brussels suburb of Molenbeek.
Reports in both Belgium and France say Salah Abdeslam, has been fatally wounded following a shootout with local police. The news comes as Abdeslam has been the subject of a massive manhunt ever since the attacks on 13 November, and earlier this week his fingerprints were found in a Brussels flat after a police raid.
However prosecutors have yet to confirm whether or not the terror suspect has been caught. Abdeslam is believed is to be a key suspect in organising the attacks that tragically killed 130 people in the French capital last November.
