Met Eireann is forecasting a few days of mostly dry and settled weather ahead as high pressure moves in over the country.
According to the national forecaster, today, Tuesday, will be a dry day with temperatures reaching 10C.
Wednesday will see a marked improvement in the weather, with good, long spells of sunshine, and temperatures again reaching double digits.
The overall forecast is for a period of good and settled weather lasting into the weekend at least.
