Met Eireann is forecasting temperatures reaching the mid 20s next week in a late taste of summer.
According to the national forecaster, high pressure is likely to dominate weather patterns for much of the week, leading to mostly warm and settled conditions.
The outlook after that looks like more unsettled weather setting in, with temperatures scaling back to high teens at best.
