The mother of Saoirse Ruane has been posting on Instagram about the family’s exciting trip to Disney World.
According to Extra.ie, Roseanna Ruane said she was feeling emotional at the holiday, describing it as a “dream” opportunity and saying that Saoirse is doing well.
Little Saoirse won the hearts of the nation when she was a guest on the Late Late Toy Show and spoke to Ryan Tubridy about how she had gotten used to having a prosthetic after her leg was amputated as part of treatment for cancer. Earlier this year, the 10-year-old was obliged to have more surgery to have a tumour removed from her lung.
After posting images of Saoirse and her little sister at the resort, Mrs. Ruane thanked everyone who made it possible and said they would “definitely be back”.
