Met Eireann has warned of very unsettled weather over the next few days, with heavy rain and strong winds forecast for much of the country.
The national forecaster says that the combination of tides and gales might lead to coastal flooding, so people are advised to stay away from shores.
Monday and Tuesday of next week are forecast to be very wet and windy, with heavy rain moving in from the Atlantic.
