Mourners line the streets of Dublin to pay their respects to Coastguard Caitríona Lucas




There was a mark of respect for Coastguard Caitríona Lucas in Dublin earlier today as a number of people lined the streets to honour the brave woman who sadly lost her life in a rescue mission earlier this week.

Mourners of the heroic woman attended the annual parade by frontline emergency service personnel in Parnell Square.

It is umderstood those marching wore black arm bands as a mark of respect to Caitriona.

Coastguard volunteer Caitriona Lucas, sadly lost her life on Monday after she drowned off the coast of Clare whilst carrying out a rescue mission.
