Newlook, the popular retail chain has been accused of sexualising nine year old girls by selling padded bikinis in their 9-15 year old section.
The fast-fashion chain is facing a huge backlash from their customers both in Ireland and the UK.
The bikinis feature bras with “moulded triangle cups”. The matching skimpy bottoms are secured only by ties on the side.
OBJECT, the UK organisation which opposes the sexual objectification of women, said online: “Stop sexualising children @newlook. It’s wrong and damaging. Take them away. We OBJECT”, reports the Sun.
