The Government is dictating that nightclubs, bars, and restaurants will have to close at midnight from tonight.
The new guideline implies that the Irish Government and its scientific advisers bizarrely believe that viral organisms only become active at one minute past midnight, so it’s unclear how effective this new idea will be, or how many people still care about what the Government says.
