Though the freezing weather may be gone for now, unsettled conditions are set to be predominant over the coming week, with heavy showers and frost expected on most days.

Today, Sunday, will be a very showery and blustery day, with temperatures reaching 12C in parts.

Monday will start dry and bright in most areas, but showers will soon move in from the north, spreading southwards throughout the day.

A similar pattern will remain for the entire week, with bright periods and heavy showers. Temperatures will hover around 6-8C in most places this week.
