No snow on Christmas Day, Ireland will see a cold, dry, and bright day instead

Met Eireann has ruled out any snowfalls on Christmas Day, predicting instead a cold, dry and bright day, with cloud cover developing later in the evening.

Christmas morning will start cold and dry, with cloud cover throughout the county. Possible fog will develop later in the day, with temperatures reaching 9 or even 10C at times.

St. Stephen’s Day is forecast to be rather blustery, with plenty of rain, and temperatures rising to 12C.
