Opinion: Harris makes vomit inducing promises to detained Halawa yet no such concern for suffering Irish people

Our esteemed 30-yr-old Minister for Health, Simon Harris, has assured the people of Ireland that when the Islamist, Ibrahim Halawa, returns to this country the full resources of the HSE will be ready and waiting to nurse the little radical back to health as quickly as possible.

I’m sure there were great expressions of relief from the parents of sick children who suffer in silence on record breaking waiting lists, no doubt the disabled and elderly of this country, who are struggling from day to day, are heartened by the fact that this Muslim Brotherhood supporter, who views the Irish people as “Kafir” or infidels, will receive the best of treatment, no medical card needed or burnt passport for identification purposes for that matter.

The homeless and addicts who are dying in our streets and hotels at an ever increasing pace will continue to die alone and neglected but at least with some semblance of peace now, knowing that the Irish government has its priorities straight.

Having been on hunger strike for four years the wannabe martyr will most certainly need the medical attention.

How much contempt can this government show for the Irish people before it’s too much?

How much contempt can the “progressive” snobs in the media hold for the Irish people? While they fawn over this Muslim Brotherhood supporter, they have nothing but disdain for the average Irishman and woman.

We face an unprecedented crisis in our health service yet Simon Harris has the audacity to promise any and all resources to help this man on his return.

This is a trend with this government, Minister for Children Katherine Zappone has been outspoken in demands to bring the 21-yr-old radical back to Ireland, no such concern for other Irish children being held abroad.

So while the people of Ireland suffer and die because of our shambles of health system we can take reassurance in knowing that upon his return Ibrahim Halawa will be well taken care of.
