A large number of UK parents are outraged after a primary school said kids should stay within a hoop on the playground and clean their own cuts if they fell when they reopened.

According to the Metro, Holywell Village Fist School in Northumberalnd was criticised for its “ridiculous” ideas to increase social distance when students returned to class on June 1.

In a deleted Facebook post, students are assigned “play bubbles” to stay in when they’re on the playground. An image showing what it would look like showed hula hoops spread across the playing yard and marked with an x. Toys, home textiles and books were allegedly removed from classrooms and outdoor play equipment could not be used due to the lack of staff to clean them afterwards.

It’s understood that children would also have had to clean their cuts themselves.
