PC Madness: Calls for the word “cyclist” to be banned as people view it as dehumanising people who use bikes

It has been confirmed that political correctness knows no bounds of reason after alleged ‘experts’ recommend that the word “cyclist” be banned following a study at Queensland University of Technology and Monash University shows a link between the word and dehumanisation.

The study conducted a survey of 442 non-cyclists and found that 55% believed that cyclists were “not completely human”.

They have suggested the word “cyclist” be abandoned in favour of the term “people who ride bikes” lest some type of cyclist holocaust be enacted in the land down under.

Professor Narelle Hawthorn, who oversaw the study, said banning the word cyclist and building better infrastructure for the use of “people who ride bikes” is essential to convince Aussies that cyclists are not inhuman creatures.
