Portugal opens its doors to foreign tourists from today, though restrictions still apply to people from certain countries

Portugal has opened its doors to foreign tourists from today, though restrictions still apply to people from certain countries.

People departing from countries where coronavirus rates are below 500 cases per 100,000 people can fly into Portugal for tourism and other non-essential reasons, as long as they can show a negative PCR test taken within 72h of departure.

However, passengers from Cyprus, Croatia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, and Sweden can only enter Portugal for essential reasons.
