The tragic trend of road deaths continues, following the death of a motorist in his 60s in Limerick city on Wednesday night.
It is understood that the car he was driving collided with a parked car and then hit a wall. The parked car was shunted forward and struck another vehicle. Both stationary cars were not occupied.
The driver was rushed to University Hospital Limerick, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
