Ryanair slams the Irish government, calling them “Paddy Last”




Ryanair have been very outspoken over the government’s outlandish and ludicious handling of the pandemic. Michael O’Leary hasn’t held back in saying how mismanaged the entire event has been.

They told us to get vaccinated so we can go on our sun holidays. Now NPHET says international travel is a “greater risk” than indoor dining in the fight against Covid. Ryanair slams Irish government, calling them “Paddy Last”

Dr. Cillian De Gascon, director of the National Virus Reference Laboratory and a member of the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) said “travel comes with more unknowns”.

During an interview on RTE Radio One’s Today with Claire Byrne, Dr De Gascon  said “For me travel comes with more unknowns, we can control indoor hospitality. We don’t want to import more cases of the infections than is absolutely necessary”.

Yesterday, Ryanair CEO Eddie Wilson said the government are ‘doing untold damage’ to the Irish economy by being ‘paddy last’ with EU digital Covid certs, reports the Sun.
