SDLP “gives the two fingers” to their Pro Life voters and supporters, says Aontu

Abortion has become a major voting topic in the upcoming election in the six counties.

One popular Catholic priest has said if Aontu were not running a candidate in his constituency, he would vote for Prolife DUP, rather than vote for pro-abortion Alliance, SDLP, SINN fein, PBP, Greens or UUP.

Patsy McClone, an SDLP candidate for Mid Ulster has had to make a public statement where he claims he is Prolife, however AONTU have responded to his Prolife claim tweeting
“If he (Patsy McClone) and others had stayed in the Stormont chamber the day the Assembly was reconvened to elect a speaker,
Abortion would not have been passed by Westminster.
Actions speak louder than empty words.”

Aontu have also called out the SDLP in Derry, where Prolife John Hume, a founding member of the SDLP, lived most of his life.
During an online meeting, SDLP candidate and abortion activist Sinead McLaughlin tells Prolife voters to “get a life”.
You can watch her comments in this short video.

In response to the video, Aontu, a nationalist Prolife party said “ The SDLP give two fingers to their members and supporters on the Human Right to Life.”
