Second earthquake hits Nepal

A magnitude 7.4 earthquake has struck Nepal, just over two weeks after a massive seismic event which killed nearly 8,000 people.

The epicenter of this second quake was pinpointed 83km east of the capital Katmandu, at a depth of 18.5km, according to the US Geological Service. The event lasted between 20 and 30 seconds.

Tremors were felt as far as Delhi, the Indian capital, and Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
