It really would make you utterly sick to your stomach. Almost ten and a half THOUSAND people are homeless in Ireland as of September 2019.
It’s the third month in a row for the number of people seeking emergency accommodation to rise.
According to latest figures published by the Department of Housing there were 10,397 people homeless in September.
The figures mark yet another increase showing that there are 3,873 children in emergency accommodation.
They also showed that there was a total of 1,756 children homeless in the month of September.
