Police in the UK have confirmed that a three year-old girl has tragically passed away after a “choking” incident in an Asda supermarket in Aintree, Liverpool.
“At around 9.50pm, the ambulance service attended reports of a three-year-old girl choking inside Asda on Ormskirk Road. The child was taken to hospital but sadly pronounced dead a short time later. The family are being supported by officers at this sad time” said a Merseyside Police spokesperson.
According to the Metro, the incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing.
