Tributes paid to motorcylist aged in his 20s who has sadly died following a crash

A motorcyclist aged in his 20s has died following a single-vehicle collision in Co Wexford.

The crash took place on the L4016 near Glenour in Adamstown at approximately 9.20pm on Friday night. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, reports Breaking News.

His remains were subsequently removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination is due to take place. No other injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

The L4016 remains closed to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions currently in place, reports Breaking News.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward and are particularly keen to hear from anyone travelling on the L4016 between 9pm and 9.30pm on Friday, especially those who may have dashcam or mobile phone footage, reports Breaking News.
