In times of a pandemic, you want your health service to have the best equipment possible. Well, British authorities have seized millions of ‘sub-standard’ masks at Heathrow Airport since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Border and Customs officers confiscated a total of 2.5m masks, whose labelling and paperwork were either doctored or false.
A number of firms across the UK were involved in the importation of this defective material.
