Ukrainian operators have scored yet another major victory after capturing the tactically significant enclave of Klishchiivka, located just south of Bakhmut.
Elements from Ukraine’s 80th Air Assault Brigade, 5th Assault Brigade, 95th Air Assault Brigade, and National Police Assault Brigade all took part in the action.
Klishchiivka is of particular significance as it can become the lynchpin for the final envelopment of Bakhmut and the staging ground for further offensive actions in all directions.
Post-battle reports expressed a laconic but hugely significant message about the destruction of enemy troops in Klishchiivka: ‘Cleared of Russians.’
