A captured Russian pilot has reportedly pleaded with Vladimir Putin to ‘stop, as we have already lost the war.’
The pilot, whose plane was shot down during a bombing raid, also reportedly begged the Ukrainian military for forgiveness after dropping bombs on several targets, potentially killing or injuring dozens.
It is unclear if quarter was given.
