The government don’t seem to be giving workers much help as they try to get back on track and go back to work following the coronavirus pandemic.
Workers who are lucky -or unlucky, depending on your point of view- to return to work on Monday have been warned to duly close their emergency payment claims on that very day.
According to the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection, the reason for this is that workers resuming their duties on Monday will be paid in full for the previous week, if they comply.
Staff working outdoors are allowed to go back to work from Monday.
