All emergency personnel and first line services are working together in an effort to help stop people contracting coronavirus and going to hospital, ICU or possibly dying as a result.
The covid-19 outbreak has drastically increased in a widespread way over the past two weeks with more than 2,000 confirmed cases and a large number of deaths as a result of contracting coronavirus.
Emergency workers said that people need to heed the government’s advice by staying at home so that they can go to work and help to treat patients.
First line workers have said:
“Respect and best practice is needed. If there was a time to answer Ireland’s call, this is that time and everyone has to rally around the cause for the good of the nation.”
