A man in his 20s is in a critical condition in hospital, after being struck by a truck in Co. Monaghan.
The incident happened on the N54 road, near the townland of Bandrum just after 11am this morning.
The victim was rushed to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Monaghan Garda Station on 047 – 77240, the Garda Confidential Line, or any Garda Station.
