According to recent survey conducted by Thinkhouse, it is understood that young people between the ages of 16 to 35 have on average 360 Facebook friends per person.
The survey found that the younger you are the more online friends you will most likely have. Figures suggest that those aged between 16- to 18-years-old had an average total of 490 friends, whilst those aged between 30 to 35 had an average of 205 online friends.
The recent survey conducted by the youth communications agency, also found that the average young Irish person spends up to 102 minutes online per day.
