A second man was shot late last night in Dublin. The incident happened in the Kilcronan area of Clondalkin, West Dublin just before midnight.
The man was shot at least four times and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime.
Approximately two hours beforehand, another man, Michael Barr was shot dead in The Sunset House pub in Dublin’s north inner city.
A garda spokesman confirmed: “Officers were present at two crime scenes, one of a shooting at The Sunset House pub and one of a shooting in Kilcronin, Clondalkin.”
Gardaí have launched two separate investigations into the shootings.
