Gardaí in Co Kildare have confirmed that they have arrested two men in connection with the murder of David Boland.
The arrests come after Mr Boland, 34, was fatally stabbed on Duke Street in Athy, in the early hours of Thursday November 1st.
Gardaí say the two men are being questioned at Newbridge and Kildare Garda Stations.
Meanwhile a 20-year-old man has appeared in court charged with Mr Boland’s murder.
