A 26 year old man has from Houston Texas, has sadly lost his life after he accidentally fell into a tyre shredder at a local recycling plant.
The horrific incident which has now prompted a health and safety review at the planet which is said to the world’s biggest tyre recycling facility, sadly resulted in the tragic death of a father of one, Byron Jones.
According to local media reports Byron age 26, sadly lost his life after he fell into the machine whilst working at the planet earlier this week.
Although a number of co-workers made numerous attempts to save Byron’s life, the dedicated worker was unablke to escape from the machine which ultimately crushed him whilst he was trapped inside.
In a statement Byron’s family lawyer told local media that a lawsuit has since been filed against the plant.
It is thought the large recycling facility shreds over 100,000 tyres a year and it is one of the world’s biggest recycling plants.
