Gardai in Co Clare were contacted this morning at 11am after it’s believed a 19-yr-old man fell into the sea.
The man is believed to be from the Quilty area of the County went missing this morning shortly have 10:30.
The alarm was raised, and gardai quickly notified the Irish Coast Guard. Troops were deployed from Kilkee and Doolin to help find the missing teenager.
At 7:30pm, some eight hours later, the Irish Coast Guard called off the search for the night. It will resume at 11am tomorrow morning.
