Brett Kavanaugh has been dragged through hell in a handcart over the past number of weeks.
He was, what now appears to be, wrongfully accused of sexual misconduct on Dr Christine Ford some 36 years ago. Kavanaugh denied allegations that he held Ford down on a bed during a party in 1982.
Ms Ford’s recount of the situation have been called sketchy at best by many in America as she couldn’t specifically state a number of details pertaining to the event in question.
Roll on to yesterday and Brett Kavanaugh secured 51 to 49 votes in favour of a full vote today – an almost guaranteed step away from becoming the newest member of the SCOTUS.
The vote will take place later this afternoon.
