In what can only be described as an absolutely outstanding piece of television, 98-yr-old Limerick hurling fan John Hunt spoke of his utter delight at the county’s All-Ireland win this year.
The legend flew in recently from Chicago and is returning tomorrow.
He attended his native Limerick’s 1936 final and spoke of the delight when they won again last month.
John was presented with a sliotar from the Limerick team on last night’s Late Late Show and he was nothing short of being absolutely delighted with himself.
Well done, John – you’re an absolute legend!
